Frewitt - MF-8
Brief Overview
a) The MF-8 is the basic mechanism of the largest Frewitt mill, the
2xMF-8 sieve mill. The 2xMF-8 consists of two MF-8s operating in
tandem for handling particularly high flow rates, i.e., up to 5t/h.
With it’s output ranging from 1.5 t/h to a maximum of 3 t/h, the
standard MF-8 is equally good in terms of product quality.
b) Thanks to the procedural advantages of oscillating mills, the
MF-8 is also especially suited for handling sensitive products. The
oscillating rotor movement employs the "first-in-first-out"
principle, achieving the narrow spectrum of grain sizes with a low
percentage of fine particles (particles < 200 μm) typical of Frewitt
oscillating mills.
c) The MF-8 is also designed to handle particle sizes ranging from a
maximum of 5 cm to a minimum of 250 μm. Engineered with a
pivoting front door, this largest member of the MF family shares
the simple maintenance, cleaning, and ergonomic characteristics
of the other members of the MF family.
