Frewitt - MF-6
Brief Overview
a) With it’s output ranging from 600 kg/h to maximum 1000 kg/h,
the MF-6 is by far the most popular, oscillating mill on the
international market. It’s moderate installation dimensions and
user-friendly, procedural advantages are it’s distinguishing
features.
b) The MF-6 sizes the powder by grinding it between the sieve and
the rotor. The product is hardly heated at all during the milling
process, which is the main reason why many of our customers
prefer the MF Series for heat-sensitive products. The gentle
operation mode results in a narrow grain size spectrum, earning
this type of mill the name of "sizer“ or "calibrator." The
technology of the MF-6 is the industrial standard for products in
which the percentage of fine particles (particles ≤ 200 μm) in the
finished product must be kept at a low level.
c) The MF-6 can be used for particle sizes ranging from 5 cm to as
small as 250 μm. Due to it’s new engineering design respecting
both GMP and FDA guidelines; the housing can be spotlessly
cleaned in-line or manually.
