Andersen Type Cascade Impactor App. 3 Type ACI-DPI-1000.

The Andersen Type Cascade Impactor App. 3 has been designed for the determination of particle size of Dry Powder Dose Inhalers. Particles having a large enough interia will impact upon the particular stage plate whilst smaller particles will pass to the next impactor stage. 

The Apparatus is identical to Apparatus 1 for MDI’s except that a preseparator is interposed between the Induction Port and Stage 0 of the Apparatus in order to collect large masses of non-inhalable powder prior to their entry into the impactor. 

As standard the Andersen Type Cascade Impactor App. 3 is manufactured of aluminium. But is also available in stainless steel or Titanium.
