The Motor Drive AR 402 is equipped with a DC motor (500 Watts, max. speed of 3.500 rpm, 60% performance rating).

The sturdy ball bearing worm gear drive is completely maintenance free and provides an output torque of max. 25 Nm. The unit features electronic speed control variable between 0 and 400 rpm. Speed and run-time may be pre-selected by the touch sensitive keypad. An alarm to sound at the completion of the pre-set run-time can be selected.

The AR 402-S is similar to the AR 402 but offers a different connection to the attachment. This connection is designed for better transfer of the torque. It can be used with some of the ERWEKA attachments.
